Express defeat 'Frogs

Eau Claire put up two three run innings in a come-from-behind effort on Saturday night, and the Express defeated the 'Frogs by a score of 7-4 at Carson Park on Saturday night.
The 'Frogs struck first in the second inning. After a walk, Clayton Eslick came in to score on an error on Jimmy Allen at third base.
The Express put up one of its three run innings in the fourth. Josh Scheffert led off the inning with a double and then scored on a Casey Gillaspie single. Two Bullfrogs errors then allowed Gillaspie and Ty Farney to come around to score, giving the Express a 3-1 lead through four innings.
The 'Frogs didn't wait long to regain the lead. They pushed home three in the fifth, Justin Seager doubled in Nick Stein, and then Seager and David Armendariz came around to score on an Eslick single.
Green Bay's offense was silent for the rest of the night. The Express took the lead for good in the seventh inning. Ryan Shober scored the game-tying run on a Jimmy Allen double down the left field line. Gillaspie gave the Express a 6-4 lead with an emphatic home run to left center. Tyler Wampler scored in the eighth to make it the eventual final, 7-4.
Robb Woodcock (1-1) took the loss for Green Bay. He went two innings and gave up three earned runs.
