Explorers Open 2008 Season Tonight in Wichita

Your hometown Sioux City Explorers open the 2008 season tonight with game one of a scheduled three game series versus the Wichita Wingnuts with the first pitch set for 7:05 PM.

Tonights game and all 96 games on the 2008 schedule can be heard on the X's Flagship station, KSCJ 1360 AM or via webcast by visiting the official website of your hometown X's at www.xsbaseball.com.

After the three game series in Wichita, your Sioux City Explorers return home for the 2008 home opener at Lewis & Clark Park this Saturday (May 10th) for a two game series versus the Wingnuts. The first pitch on Saturday is set for 7:05 PM and the first 1000 fans will receive a FREE 2008 magnet schedule thanks to L&L Distributing. Sunday's contest between the Explorers and Wingnuts is set for 2:05 PM and will offer a great Mother's Day special along with autographs for all the kids after the game from Explorer players and coaches.
