Lincoln, Neb. - Christian Evers was named CCM Defenseman of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
Evers finished the week with two goals and one assist in three games.
The three-point week boosted the North Dakota commit to three goals and seven assists on the season, moving him to fifth in USHL D-scoring.
"I'm just keeping it simple and sticking to what I know," Evers said. "The bounces are going my way right now."
This marks the second time Evers has been named CCM Defenseman of the Week after earning the award earlier this season.
Stars defensemen have combined for four goals and 27 assists through 16 games.
"We're all on the same page just sticking to our systems," Evers said. "We've been working on it a lot on practice and it's starting to carry over into the games."
The Stars return to the Ice Box on Friday, November 20 to take on the Tri-City Storm. For tickets and more information log on to lincolnstars.com.
