Boise Hawks News Release
The Boise Hawks (Short Season A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies) dropped game four of the four game series 7-2 in 10 innings to the Everett AquaSox (Short Season A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners).
Action was in store for the first inning as Everett scored via an RBI-single from Trent Tingelstad to give them a 1-0 lead. Boise then would respond when Trey Jacobs tied it up off of a throwing error from Everett's third baseman. Isaac Collins, who reached on a single, scored which tied up the ballgame 1-1.
No one scored for either team until Yorvis Torrealba drove in Joe Aeilts to give Boise the 2-1 lead. This was the first hit for Torrealba, who made his professional debut, and collected his first RBI as well.
Eris Filpo started the night for the Hawks and went 5.2 IP, allowing only four hits, one earned run, one walk and 10 strikeouts. He had four swinging strikeouts and six looking through his first start of 2019.
The AquaSox tied it up 2-2 in the top of the ninth when Patrick Frick knocked in Cash Gladfelter on an RBI-double. After forcing extra innings, they then hoisted five runs in the top of the 10th inning and took the victory 7-2.
Boise will take on the Spokane Indians on the road on Friday in a four-game series. The projected starter for Boise will be Jeffri Ocando.
