
Everett Stops Streaking Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Spokane Chiefs saw their season-high winning streak snapped at five games on Tuesday night as the division-leading Everett Silvertips won, 3-1.
The Chiefs controlled things through the first two periods, leading the shots on goal 21-12 headed into the final intermission. Los Angeles Kings prospect Jaret Anderson-Dolan notched a 5-on-3 power play goal for the Chiefs at 8:40 of the second period, extending his goal streak to five games.
Spokane held the 1-0 lead until the 1:38 mark of the third period, when rookie Everett defenseman Ronan Seeley scored his first career WHL goal to tie things at 1-1. Dawson Butt slid in the game-winner on a crowded play in front at 3:33 to take control. The Silvertips added an insurance goal from Reece Vitelli late in the period as they outshot the Chiefs 15-4 in the final 20 minutes.
Spokane's Bailey Brkin ended the night 24-for-27 in goal while Everett's Dustin Wolf was 24-for-25. The Chiefs' power play was 1-for-4 while Everett went 0-for-1.

The Chiefs return to action this weekend with back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday night. They'll take on the Vancouver Giants on Friday for Fan Appreciation Night presented by Jack in the Box.
