The Everett Silvertips have started the 2004-05 season on a good note posting a 2-1-0-1 (5 points) record in their first 4 games. This weekend the 2004 Western Conference Champions will be busy playing 3 games in 3 nights. On Friday night, the Silvertips will travel to Vancouver, BC to face off against the Vancouver Giants at Pacific Coliseum. The puck will drop at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, Everett will battle the Lethbridge Hurricanes for the only time in the regular season at the Everett Events Center at 7:05 p.m. Finally, the Silvertips will face off with their U.S. Division rival, the Tri-City Americans on Sunday night at Three Rivers Coliseum in Kennewick, Washington at 5:05 p.m.
NEWS AND NOTES
The Everett Silvertips are led in scoring by Karel Hromas (3 goals, 2 assists) with 5 points. Hromas is currently tied for 13th in the WHL in scoring and leads all rookies in the WHL with 5 points. Curtis Billsten (1 goal, 2 assists), Mitch Love (1 goal, 2 assists) and Shaun Heshka (3 assists) are all tied for 2nd on the hockey club with 3 points.
Silvertips netminder Michael Wall is currently 5th among WHL goaltenders with a 1.33 Goals Against Average and 5th with a .951 Save Percentage.

Karel Hromas has tallied a point in all 4 games this season. He has also scored a goal in 2 straight hockey games.
SPECIAL TEAMS
The Silvertips are ranked 3rd in the WHL on the power play (6 for 24, 25%) and tied for 1st on the penalty kill (11 for 11, 100%).
SILVERTIPS IN THE COMMUNITY
The Everett Silvertips will be out in the community this week. On Tuesday, October 5, Head Coach Kevin Constantine will be the main speaker at a luncheon hosted by the Everett Rotary Club. The Silvertips will also be in attendance meeting the rotary club members and signing autographs. Tyler Dietrich, Mitch Love and Curtis Billsten will visit Monte Cristo Elementary School in Granite Falls on Wednesday, October 6. They will talk to the students about their lives and stress the importance of education and reaching individual goals.

Catch all of the exciting Silvertips hockey action with Keith Gerhart and Dave Sheldon on the home of the Everett Silvertips, North Sound 1380 ESPN Radio. You can also listen to every game via the internet on www.everettsilvertips.com. The pre-game show begins a half hour before game time. Also tune to North Sound 1380 ESPN Radio every Monday night from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the Everett Silvertips Hockey Show. Dave and Keith will recap the week that was and preview upcoming games. They will also have feature interviews with Silvertips players and chat about other topics in the Western Hockey League.
