
Everett Beats Boise 17-2

The Boise Hawks (19-15) fell tonight to the Everett AquaSox (18-16) by a final score of 17-2. Everett had 18 hits while Boise committed six errors in the series opener.
The AquaSox wasted no time at all. In the first inning, after a single from Ryan Ramiz, the leadoff hitter, it was Ryne Ogren with his first professional home run out to righ-tfield making it 2-0 Everett.
Everett continued to add in the 2nd inning. The AquaSox continued to score runs as they added four runs in the 2nd inning as it was capped off by another Ryne Ogren two-run home run. Ogren finishes the night 3-5 with two home runs and 5 RBI.
The AquaSox got five runs in the 4th inning as it was two errors in the inning for the Hawks and Everett jumped out to a 11-0 lead.
Boise would get on the board though. After Luke Morgan singled, Willie Maciver doubled out to right-centerfield and the Hawks trailed 11-1 in the 4th inning. But Everett did not stop hitting. The AquaSox another run in the 5th on a Charlie McConnell home run, one of four home runs the AquaSox hit for the game.
In the 6th, the Hawks made two errors and Everett got another home run from Geoandry Montilla to take a 17-1 lead. Boise added one more run in the 8th inning when Kennard McDowell walked with the bases loaded to make the score 17-2.
Everett goes to 18-16 while Boise falls to 19-15.
