
AquaSox Erupt in Opening Game against Boise

BOISE, Idaho - The Everett AquaSox compiled season highs in runs and hits in a 17-2 blowout of the Boise Hawks on Thursday night at Memorial Stadium in front of a crowd of 2,981.
It was a career day for shortstop Ryne Ogren who led the 18 hit attack. He batted 3-for-5 with a pair of two-run home runs, an RBI double, and finished with five RBI. The home runs were the first two of his professional career.
The AquaSox also had a season-high four home runs as Charlie McConnell and Geoandry Montilla also went deep.
McConnell was 3-for-5 with four runs scored and three RBI. Bobby Honeyman finished the game 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBI.
Boise committed a season-high six errors.
Cody Mobley (2-0) earned the win in relief with three shutout innings. He walked one and struck out four.
