Everblades Bolster Blue Line with Addition of Mike Brennan

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced Tuesday that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Mike Brennan.

Brennan, 26, joins the Everblades after spending the past four seasons in the American Hockey League. The 6-0, 205-pound blue liner appeared in 282 AHL games, scoring six goals, 26 assists, and adding 406 penalty minutes split between Rockford (2008-10), Toronto (2010-11), and most recently with Lake Erie (2011-12).

The Smithtown, New York native totaled 39 points (7g, 32a) and 240 penalty minutes during his four-year collegiate career at Boston College (2004-08). Brennan also played for the U.S. National Under-19 Team (NAHL) from 2002-2004.

The Everblades battle the Elmira Jackals on Wednesday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m. at Germain Arena. Wednesday is also College Night, ladies get in free, and men can receive a $5 ticket with a valid college I.D. Fans can enjoy $2 drafts, $2 wines and $2 hot dogs all night long.
