
Evansville's Clarke Named Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Dylan Clarke of the Evansville IceMen is the Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week for Dec. 3-9.
Clarke scored two goals, added five assists and was a +6 last week helping the IceMen to a 2-0-1 record.
The 26-year-old had two points (1g-1a) in a 3-2 shootout loss at Cincinnati on Wednesday and then tallied four assists in an 8-5 win against Toledo on Friday. He ended the week with a goal in a 4-1 victory over Cincinnati on Saturday.
A native of Belleville, Ontario, Clarke has 11 points (3g-8a) and is a +7 in six games with Evansville this season. He started the season in South Carolina, and has 14 points (6g-8a) in 22 games overall between the Stingrays and IceMen.
Last season with Tulsa of the Central Hockey League, Clarke finished the season tied for the team lead with 64 points (29g-35a) in 66 games. Prior to turning pro, he played four seasons at SUNY-Plattsburgh, scoring 139 points (67g-72a) in 114 career games.
On behalf of Dylan Clarke, a case of pucks will be donated to an Evansville youth hockey organization by Sher-Wood Hockey, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its sponsorship of the award in 2000-01, Sher-Wood Hockey has donated more than 27,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations in ECHL cities.
