LOOK BACK AT LAST GAME: The Evansville Otters lost 6-5 last night against the Windy City Thunderbolts. In a pitcher's duel early neither team was able to score until the sixth inning. In the bottom half, Evansville rallied for three runs while only get- ting the ball out of the infield once. Down 3-0, Windy City plated two runs in the next half inning. Lead- ing by just a run, the Otters received a home run from INF Steve Marino and an RBI single from OF Deaun Wil- liams for a 5-2 advantage. Evans- ville wouldn't hold on though as closer Eric Massingham surrendered four runs in the top of the ninth inning of the Windy City comeback win at Historic Bosse Field.

STRIKEOUT ARTISTS: Windy City and Evansville pitchers combined for 28 strike- outs last night. The Otters fanned 10 batters on Friday night, giving them a total of 50 strikeouts this season.Evansville Otter pitchers are averaging 7.14 strikeouts per game.

WELL T HAT'S A FIRST: Closer Eric Massingham blew his first save of the sea- son and first as an Evansville Otter last night (46 chances). Outfielder Deaun Williams also had his first career RBI on a seventh inning single last night.

WINDY CITY WATCH: The Windy City Thunderbolts have a new manager this season in Ron Biga. The Thunderbolts begin the year on a 10-game roadtrip. Windy City lost their first three games before splitting their last four. The team is collectively hitting .243. The Thunderbolts hold a 4.35 earned run average and have a .965 fielding percentage.
