(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club announced that defensive backs Quincy Coleman and Darrel Crutchfield have been released.
Coleman appeared in 13 games recording 28 defensive tackles, two special teams tackles, three interceptions, one fumble recovery and seven pass knockdowns. Coleman joined the Eskimos in November of 2001 for the CFL West Final and ultimately appeared in 40 games over three seasons.
Crutchfield played most of the season with an injured left knee but managed to chalk up 30 defensive tackles, one pass knockdown, one forced fumble and one TFL in 10 games in 2004. He also had one defensive tackle in the CFL West Semi-Final. Crutchfield joined the Eskimos in September of 2002 and appeared in 33 games over three seasons.
