(Edmonton, AB) - In conjunction with the Canadian Football League, the Edmonton Eskimo Football Club today announced the release of their 2013 schedule. The Eskimos' 65th Season kicks off with a pre-season game against Saskatchewan on Friday, June 14 and then the Riders return for the regular season opener on Saturday, June 29th.

"This schedule is ideal for Eskimo fans, who have told us time and again they prefer Friday and Saturday home games at Commonwealth. This year all of our games are on those days, which is terrific news for our fans," stated Eskimo President and CEO Len Rhodes. "We are thrilled to host the 50th Anniversary Canadian Football Hall of Fame weekend and honour former Eskimo Brian Fryer. The 2013 schedule has something for every Eskimo Football fan."
