Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release
HAMILTON - The Canadian Football League has released its 2013 schedule, which sees the Hamilton Tiger-Cats host nine home games at the University of Guelph's Alumni Stadium and one in Moncton, New Brunswick as the Ticats once again take part in the NAPA Touchdown Atlantic contest.
The Tiger-Cats regular season schedule in Guelph features three Saturday afternoon games, three Saturday evening games, one Sunday game and a Thanksgiving Monday matchup with their archrivals, the Toronto Argonauts. Alumni Stadium will host the Ticats home opener on Sunday, July 7 against the Edmonton Eskimos.
The Black and Gold head to the Maritimes in September to take on the Montreal Alouettes at Moncton Stadium on September 21 as a part of this year's NAPA Touchdown Atlantic. This will be the Ticats second stint as Touchdown Atlantic hosts, with their original trip east resulting in a 55-36 win over the Calgary Stampeders on September 25, 2011.
The Tiger-Cats will call Alumni Stadium their home in 2013 while a brand-new, world-class facility is constructed in Hamilton for 2014.
