
Esks add import offensive lineman

(Edmonton) The defending Grey Cup champion Edmonton Eskimos officially announced today the signing of offensive lineman Terrance Simmons.
Simmons, a graduate of Alabama State played his college career as a defensive lineman but moved to the offensive side of the ball after signing as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Redskins in 2000. He was released in September 2001 following an assignment to Frankfurt of NFL Europe. Simmons was picked up by the Carolina Panthers in 2002 and split his time between the practice and active roster. He was released in August 2003.
