Esks add Cook to O-line

(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos announced today they signed import offensive lineman Damion Cook. Cook spent the 2006 season with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats where he started ten games.

Cook played four seasons at Bethune-Cookman (1997-2000) on the defensive line. He played in 43 games and recorded 81 tackles, ten quarterback sacks and two fumble recoveries.

Out of college he signed as an undrafted free agent in 2001 with the Baltimore Ravens, where they moved him from defensive line to offensive line during training camp. He spent time in the NFL with Baltimore, Chicago, Miami and Cleveland. He also played for the Barcelona Dragons in NFL Europe in the spring of 2002.
