
Ticats Sign Defensive Lineman West

Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have added import defensive lineman Marcus West to their development roster.
West, a 6-3, 280-pound native of Amory, Mississippi has spent time with NFL Europe's Amsterdam Admirals and the NFL's Indianapolis Colts. The 24-year old played four seasons at Memphis where he earned a spot on the 2004 All-Conference USA second-team after racking up 52 tackles (26 solo) and six quarterback sacks. In 46 career NCAA games, West recorded 109 tackles, nine quarterback sacks and 16.5 tackles for loss.
