Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Eskimos remarkable streak of qualifying for the post season has stretched to 32 consecutive seasons - a North American pro sports record.

Edmonton (10-4-0) leads the CFL West Division and have, at this point, clinched a playoff spot as the "cross over team" in the East Division. Edmonton will clinch a playoff spot in the CFL West by (a) winning the next 2 games; (b) Saskatchewan losing it's next two outings; (c) Edmonton winning this week and Saskatchewan losing. Edmonton's incredible run began in 1972 when the Esks finished 10-8 and lost to Saskatchewan in the West Semi-Final. During the 32 years, Edmonton won 8 Grey Cups (1975, 1978-'82, 1987, 1993).
