The Best in 2 Decades
"It was a near perfect day for Ray. He was 13 of 13 before missing his first completion. His passes were not just short ball control, he threw the ball long too. Ray has no sophomore jinx as he leads the league in completion percentage (70.1%). Former CFL all-star Matt Dunigan has labeled Ray âthe most accurate deep ball passer in the CFL in the last 20 years'. Ricky Ray remains cool and controlled and is determined to lead the Eskimos to 1st place in the West Division."

This is the story...of a DB named Brady
"Brady had a career night. He is an athlete who maintains good position on the receivers. On this night he had great awareness and anticipation for the ball on both of his interceptions. His timing was perfect. Brady was quick enough and smart enough to make key defensive plays for the Eskimos against Ottawa."
1st Runner-Up: Reggie Hunt #9, Saskatchewan Roughriders
2nd Runner-Up: Antonious Bonner #10, Toronto Argonauts
Judge: Bob Krouse
LINEMAN OF THE WEEK
DE â RAY JACOBS #53 BC LIONS
Stats
Game #69 â BC 26 @ Winnipeg 20
1 DT, 3 QB Sacks (14 yds).
Steady as She Goes
"Jacobs stepped up his game to anther level. He didn't stop until the whistle, if the ball was thrown he hustled and made big tackles on receivers. His 3 QB sacks in the game were an outstanding performance. Jacobs played best when he was in the Quarterback's face. He created pass hurries that turned into interceptions for touchdowns. If Jacobs continues this high level of play BC will maintain a strong playoff course."
1st Runner-Up: Kelvin Kinney #92, Edmonton Eskimos
2nd Runner-Up: Derrick Ford #44, Ottawa Renegades
Judge: Bob Krouse
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KR â BASHIR LEVINGSTON #23
TORONTO ARGONAUTS
Stats
Game #67 â Hamilton 14 @ Toronto 24
7 Punt Ret. (116 yds., LG 94, 1 TD), 1 Kickoff Ret. (16 yds)., 1 MFG Ret. (27 yds.).
Run the Wall
"Levingston is masterful in the way he allows his blocking to setup. He catches the ball and instantly observes the âon-rushing would-be tacklers'. He makes his control move, then hesitates causing the opposition to freeze, and blockers are able to get into position. He then explodes behind the wall that has been created. Against Hamilton, when he formulated a 94-yard touchdown run, a key block came from linebacker Kevin Eiben. Levingston excites and entertains fans regardless of their loyalties."
1st Runner-Up: Curtis Head #7, BC Lions
2nd Runner-Up: Robert Grant #8, Edmonton Eskimos
Judge: Bob Krouse
