Eriksson Back to Vancouver, Corbeil Back to Utica

Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have recalled goaltender Joacim Eriksson from the AHL Utica Comets. In addition, Comets Director of Hockey Operations, Pat Conacher, also announced that the Comets have recalled goaltender Mathieu Corbeil.

Eriksson, 23, has played in 21 games with Utica this season, building a record of 8-11-1, a 0.905 save percentage and a 2.84 GAA. The 6'1", 189-pound goaltender has also posted two shutouts this season.

The Gavle, Sweden, native signed with Vancouver as a free agent on June 17, 2013.

Corbeil, 22, has played in six games for the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL, and has posted a 3-1-1 record, a .911 save percentage, and a 2.53 GAA.

The Montreal, PQ native was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 4th round (102 overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
