This week:

The Wolf Pack play their second three-games-in-three-days stretch of the season, starting a string of five straight road games. Hartford heads to Worcester on Saturday night for a 7:30 PM game against the Sharks, and visits Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Saturday evening (7:05). The weekend then wraps up with a 3:00 visit to Bridgeport on Sunday.

Friday, January 10 at the Worcester Sharks (DCU Center), 7:30 PM

- This is the first of two visits on the season for the Wolf Pack to Worcester, and the third meeting between the Pack and Sharks in a span of two weeks. Hartford split its two home games against Worcester, winning 3-2 in overtime December 28 and losing 3-2 this past Saturday.

- Following their 3-2 win at the XL Center Saturday, which snapped a streak of seven straight victories for the Wolf Pack in the head-to-head series, and a run of eight consecutive Hartford home wins over Worcester, the Sharks absorbed an 8-2 pounding from the Providence Bruins in Providence Sunday.

- Dan DaSilva has scored for Worcester in both of the first two games between the Wolf Pack and Sharks, and Curt Gogol's third goal of the season was the game-winner in Saturday's head-to-head battle.

- Worcester enters the week 14-15-2-1 for 31 points, tied with Portland for fourth place in the Atlantic Division.

Saturday, January 11 at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (Mohegan Sun Arena), 7:05 PM

- With this meeting, the Wolf Pack and Penguins complete their two-game season series within just over a week. In the first get-together this past Friday at the XL Center, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton tied the game at one with 3:59 remaining in regulation and went on to win 2-1 in a shootout.

- Harry Zolnierczyk scored the Penguins' only goal in regulation Friday in Hartford, and Nick Drazenovic and Paul Thompson connected in the shootout. Jeff Deslauriers stopped 24 out of 25 shots in regulation and overtime and went 5/6 in the shootout.

- Wilkes-Barre/Scranton defeated Binghamton Sunday 4-1 in Wilkes-Barre, to improve to 20-10-1-3 for 44 points and move to within one point of the first-place Senators in the East Division.

Sunday, January 12 at the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (Webster Bank Arena), 3:00 PM

- The 12-game battle of Connecticut reaches its midpoint with this Sunday Wolf Pack visit to Bridgeport. The Pack are 3-2-0-0 thus far in the series against their in-state rivals, and Hartford has won two of its first three road games against the Sound Tigers.

- The Wolf Pack are four points behind the fourth-place Sound Tigers in the Northeast Division. Bridgeport is 1-4-0-1 in its last six games and 13-18-1-4 (31 pts.) on the season.

- Sound Tiger rookie forward Anders Lee, who is the leading scorer currently on the Bridgeport roster with 13-14-27 in 36 GP, is tied for second among AHL first-year pros in goals and ranks third in points.
