Erik Mays Adds Depth to the Defensive Backfield

Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa Oilers Football, proud member of the IFL, powered by Community Care, announced that Erik Mays has been signed for the 2024 campaign.
Mays, enters his first professional season, having played at Central Methodist University prior to signing. The 6'0, 190 lbs. defensive back recorded 132 tackles in 31 games (4.25 tackles per game), with nine tackles for loss, including a sack. The new Oilers' ball hawk had 12 pass breakups and five interceptions, four of which came his senior season.
Tulsa will see its second season begin on the road against the Frisco Fighters on March 22, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. CST. The Oilers will open their home schedule facing the Iowa Barnstormers at the BOK Center on April 6, at 7:05 p.m. CST.
