Sharks Sign Three to 2024 Roster

JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Jacksonville Sharks made another splash in free agency with the signings of three players: offensive lineman Lawrence Edwards(6'6,320), wide receiver Isaiah Johnson(5'10,196), and former Florida State standout wide receiver Tamorrion Terry (6'3,225).

The Sharks continue to beef up the offensive line with Lawrence Edwards (6'6 320). Edwards out of Spruce Creek High School was a 3 star recruit and was ranked the No. 59 offensive tackle in the nation by ESPN. He attended Georgia Southern and appeared in 28 games for the Eagles. Edwards was honored and named to the Dean's List for having a GPA higher than 3.5 in 2021-2022. After college, he signed with the Sioux Falls Storm of the IFL. Edwards is from Port Orange, FL.

Isaiah Johnson, a former Edward Waters University Tiger and New Mexico Highlands Cowboy, earned a contract with the Sharks at the free agent workout that was held in Jacksonville last month.

The Sharks solidified the return of fan favorite and former Seminole Tamorrion Terry with the announcement of his re-signing. Terry brought in 43 receptions for 472 yards and 12 touchdowns in just 10 games in his first year as a Shark. During his time at Florida State University (FSU), he had 118 receptions for 2,221 yards and 18 touchdowns. Terry's yards total ranks 10th in program history while also having his touchdown total tied for 13th on FSU's all-time list. Terry was a play maker; he averaged a touchdown every 6.55 receptions and also holds the FSU record with five 70+-yard receiving touchdowns. His nine 50+-yard touchdowns tied for second-highest total in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) over the last 15 years.Terry comes back to Jacksonville looking to continue to find the end zone for the Sharks this upcoming season in the IFL.
