Barnstormers Sign Offensive Lineman

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have signed offensive lineman Apny Omol to the 2024 roster, Head Coach Dave Mogensen announced today.
Omol (6'5, 315, Central State) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his first season in the Indoor Football League (IFL). Collegiately, Omol spent two years at Augsburg University where he saw action in 20 games with the Auggies. Omol appeared on the defensive side of the ball during his junior season before finding his place on the offensive line in his senior year.
"Apny is a massive man who shouldn't be as athletic as he is," said Coach Mogensen. "He is the kind of athlete coveted by higher levels, we are excited to get him here to Iowa to bring an additional level of agility and attitude to our offensive line."
Apny will enter the Barnstormers 2024 Training Camp in the spring.
"I am excited to get back on the field as a professional with a great organization and I look forward to contributing toward a championship run," Omol said.
