After being held off the scoreboard all of game two, Erie got two on with one out for pinch hitter Daniel Cabrera. After a single to right field looked like it was going to load the bases, but a misplay of the ball in the outfield allowed Parker Meadows to score and give Erie the walk-off 1-0 win.

After allowing a two-out triple in the first and back-to-back singles in the second, Lingos did not allow a runner to reach the rest of his outing. The left-hander tossed five scoreless innings striking out two. Kyle Marman followed with an inning and a third allowing one unearned run.
