ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...

The SeaWolves continue their seven-game homestand tonight in game three of a four-game series against the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees) at Jerry Uht Park. The SeaWolves have lost two straight and six of the last seven and are a game under .500 for the second time this season. The only other time this season where the ‘Wolves were under .500 was on April 21 when the team was 8-9. The club then rebounded to win six of seven. Following last night's loss, the SeaWolves are in a third place tie with the Reading Phillies, five games behind first place Harrisburg...Trenton continues to be one of the hottest teams in the league as they are winners of five straight and seven of the last 10. Only New Britain has a longer current winning streak (eight straight). The SeaWolves are one of four teams under .500 in the Southern Division. Only Harrisburg and Bowie have records above .500...Leftie Danny Christensen is in search of his first win of the season for the Howlers as he makes his sixth start of the season tonight. The ‘Wolves have lost four of the five games when Christensen has taken the mound. He took a loss in his last outing at Akron going 5.2 innings, allowing four runs, two earned, on seven hits...Trenton sends leftie Phil Coke to the hill, making his seventh start.. Coke won his first game of the season in his last start vs. Portland going seven shutout innings allowing five hits. He walked one and struck out a season-high 11 in the victory. Opponents are batting .315 against Coke this season.
