LAST GAME

The SeaWolves exploded for twelve runs on Tuesday night to open their road set with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies with a win. Erie set season-high marks with five home runs and an eight-run third inning eventually finishing with 12 runs. Binghamton made a late charge at the 12-run deficit, but Erie still finished with a 12-7 win. Spencer Torkelson, Ryan Kreidler, Drew Ward, Josh Lester, and Kerry Carpenter all left the yard in the win, while Elvin Rodriguez earned his third win of the year thanks to 5.1 innings of work, but he was eventually tagged for five runs. Binghamton did make a late run, scoring their seven runs without an answer from Erie, and the Erie offense went quiet after the fourth inning, not collecting a hit for the rest of the game.
