----- Tonight, the SeaWolves take on the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) in the opener of a three-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Yesterday, the SeaWolves dropped the series finale to the Harrisburg Senators 8-6. The loss was the 'Wolves seventh straight and they finished the season series with the Senators dropping nine of 13 games...The Aeros come into today's game with the league's top record at 75-51. Erie leads the season series over the Aeros, however Akron swept the 'Wolves the last time the two clubs met in Akron at the end of July...Tonight, righty Patrick Cooper takes the mound for Erie making his 21st appearance, 15th start and fourth appearance against the Aeros. Cooper took a loss in his last start at Bowie on August 15. In the game, he allowed four runs on seven hits with two walks and six strikeouts in five innings of work. Erie lost the game 5-4...Lefty T.J. House takes the mound for the Aeros making his 21st start and third against the SeaWolves. House is 1-0 with a no-decision in two previous starts against Erie. House beat Harrisburg in his last start on August 15. In the game, he allowed two runs, one earned, on six hits with three walks and four strikeouts in seven innings of work...Erie's 11 wins over the Aeros is their most against an opponent in 2012.
