----- Tonight, the SeaWolves look for back-to-back wins as they take on the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) in the rubber game of a three-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the SeaWolves snapped a four-game losing streak with an 8-6 win over the Aeros. The win put Erie eight games behind the first place Aeros. The 'Wolves are 3.5 games behind second place Harrisburg in the Western Division...Today, lefty Ramon Garcia takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 15th appearance, 14th start and fifth start against the Aeros. He is 4-0 in his previous four starts against Akron. Garcia has alternated wins and losses in his last 10 starts. Garcia took a tough loss in his last start despite a quality outing against Harrisburg. In the game, he allowed two runs on eight hits with a walk and four strikeouts in seven innings of work. Erie lost the game 3-1...The Aeros send LHP Giovanni Soto to the mound making his 17th start and fourth against the SeaWolves. Erie has handed Soto three of his five losses. He has lost two straight (one to the 'Wolves). In Soto's last start against Richmond, he allowed three runs, two earned, on six hits with five walks and four strikeouts in five innings of work...The SeaWolves remain at home for a three-game series with Harrisburg beginning Saturday night. The SeaWolves will wear special Stars and Stripes Caps during the entire Akron series. The caps will be autographed and auctioned off with proceeds benefitting veterans charities.
