Tonight, the SeaWolves take on the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) in the third game of a four-game series at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the SeaWolves could not get the offense going as they dropped the second game of the series to the Curve 3-1. The Erie loss gives Altoona the season series win over the SeaWolves with two games remaining. The SeaWolves are in fifth place in the Western Division, 10.5 games out of first and five games behind wild card leading Bowie and Richmond. Both the SeaWolves and Curve have dropped eight of their last 10 games...Righty L.J. Gagnier takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 10th start with Erie and fourth against Altoona. Gagnier was transferred to Triple-A Toledo following his start on May 24. He struggled with the Hens going 1-3 with a 7.44 ERA in eight appearances, five starts. Gagnier last appeared on July 5 against Indianapolis. He allowed 10 runs, nine earned, on 11 hits with a walk and two strikeouts in 4.2 innings of work...RHP Aaron Pribanic takes the mound for the Curve making his 19th appearance and 18th start. He has made three appearances against the SeaWolves this season and is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA. He has not allowed a run to the SeaWolves in 12.0 innings pitched. Pribanic has lost his last five starts and six of his last seven. Last time out against Bowie, he allowed five runs on nine hits with two walks and four strikeouts in five innings of work...The SeaWolves have lost back-to-back home games just once since May 1.
