----- Tonight, the SeaWolves continue an eight-day road trip as they take on the Reading Phillies (Philadelphia Phillies) in the third game of a four-game series at First Energy Stadium. Last night, the Phillies scored six early runs and took down the 'Wolves for the second straight night by a count of 6-2. Erie has now dropped three straight and is at a season-low 21 games under .500...With wins in the last two nights and New Britain losses, the Phillies are the wild card leaders in the Eastern Division by two games over the third place Rock Cats...Tonight, righty Patrick Cooper takes the mound for Erie making his 22nd appearance, 16th start and second appearance against the Phillies. Cooper appeared in relief at Reading on May 4 allowing three runs on three hits in one inning of work.Cooper picked up his first wince since June 23 in hi s last start against Akron. In the game, he shut out the Aeros in seven innings allowing five hits with one walk while striking out a season-high eight. Erie won the game 5-2...Lefty Austin Hyatt takes the mound for Reading making his 15th start and first against Erie. Hyatt took a loss in his last start against Harrisburg on August 20. In the game, he allowed four runs on five hits with a walk and seven strikeouts in six innings of work Hyatt made 11 starts with Triple-A Lehigh Valley going 2-7 with a 6.33 ERA...Niuman Romero is tied for fourth all-time in SeaWolves history with 149 hits. Romero is now 15 hits shy of passing Omar Infante's team record of 163 hits in 2001.
