----- Today, the SeaWolves look for their third straight road series win as they take on the Reading Phillies (Philadelphia Phillies) in the rubber game of a three-game series at First Energy Stadium. Last night, the SeaWolves built a 6-0 lead and held on for the 6-2 win. Erie was paced by strong starting pitching from Zack Segovia in the win. The victory puts the SeaWolves back to three-games under .500 heading into play today...The Phillies are the top team in the Eastern Division and lead the league with 19 wins. A win today by the SeaWolves would give the Phillies their first series loss of 2012...Today, lefty Jared Wesson takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his sixth start and his first against Reading. Wesson has dropped two of his last three starts and was roughed up in his last start against Altoona...Wesson took a loss in his last start against Altoona on May 1. In the game, he allowed six runs, five earned, on six hits with four walks and no strikeouts in 2.1 innings of work. Erie lost the game 7-3 and it was the shortest outing of the season for Wesson...Righty David Buchanan takes the mound for the Phillies making his sixth start and first against the 'Wolves. Buchanan took a loss in his last start against New Hampshire on May 1. In the game, he allowed five runs, two earned, on five hits with two walks and three strikeouts in four innings. It was Buchanan's shortest outing of the season...The SeaWolves will continue their current road trip as they travel to Akron for a three-game series against the Aeros beginning Monday night. It will mark the first series between the two divisional rivals in 2012.
