Today, the SeaWolves take on the Akron RubberDucks (Cleveland Indians) in the final two games of a three-game series at Canal Park. Last night, the SeaWolves and Ducks were suspended in the top of the fifth inning with Erie trailing 4-0. The teams will pick up that game in the fifth inning and then play a second, seven inning game to complete the series... Righty Tommy Collier takes the mound for the SeaWolves in game two making his second start and first against the Ducks. Collier took a no-decision in his Erie debut in his last start on May 26 in Bowie. In the game, he allowed a run on five hits with a walk and five strikeouts in six innings of work. Erie lost the game 4-2... Lefty Ryan Merritt takes the mound for the Ducks in game two making his 10th start and first against the SeaWolves. Merritt took a loss in his last start against Trenton on May 26. In the game, he allowed three runs, two earned, on eight hits with a walk and two strikeouts in five innings of work.
