----- Tonight, the SeaWolves continue a six-game road trip as they begin a three-game series against the Akron Aeros (Cleveland Indians) at Canal Park. The 'Wolves completed their third straight road series win on Sunday afternoon with a 9-4 win over the Reading Phillies. Tonight, the SeaWolves will try, for the fourth time this season, to win three consecutive games...The SeaWolves have struggled in the opening games of series going just 1-8 in their first nine series...The Aeros enter play as the top team in the Western Division, 3.5 games ahead of second place Harrisburg. Akron has won two straight and eight of its last 10...The SeaWolves send lefty Kelvin De La Cruz to the mound making his seventh appearance and fifth start. De La Cruz has dropped back-to-back outings. In his last start against Altoona, De La Cruz allowed six runs on six hits with a walk and a strikeout in 1.1 innings of work. He was ejected from the game after hitting a batter in the second. Erie lost the game 11-8...Lefty T.J. House takes the mound for Akron making his second start. House began the season with Class-A Carolina where he made four starts, posting a 2-0 record and 1.44 ERA. House took a no-decision in his Double-A debut in his last start against Binghamton on May 1. In the game, he allowed four runs, three earned, on four hits with a walk and four strikeouts in six innings...The SeaWolves offense has been clicking over the last week. The 'Wolves have scored six or more runs in four of their last five games.

Lennerton has not homered since 4/19 at BOW. - Rob Brantly leads the league with a .614 slugging percentage, is tied for the league lead with 12 doubles and is tied for third with 15 extra-base hits. - Erie pitchers have walked 130 hitters, the most in the EL. The 'Wolves have also given up 28 home runs which is tied for most allowed in the league. - Erie is 11th in the league with a 4.76 team ERA. Akron boasts the top pitching staff in the league with a 2.31 team ERA. - Erie is third in the league with a .265 team batting average. Akron is fifth with a .257 team average. - Niuman Romero is tied for second in the EL with 39 hits. Romero is also the toughest hitter to strike out in the league, striking out just one every 12.70 plate appearances.
