Aeros Game Rained Out; DH Tuesday at 5:00 pm

AKRON, OH - The Akron Aeros game against the Erie SeaWolves, scheduled for Monday, May 7th at 7:05 p.m., has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The game will be made up on Tuesday, May 8th as part of a doubleheader beginning at 5:00 p.m. Each game of the doubleheader will be seven innings. The Canal Park gates will open at 4:00 p.m.

Fans holding tickets for Monday's game may exchange them for the makeup game Tuesday, or any remaining home game during the 2012 season. Fans must redeem their tickets in person at the Canal Park Box Office. Tickets are subject to availability.

For the doubleheader Tuesday, game one will feature LHP Kelvin De La Cruz (1-3, 5.32) for the SeaWolves against LHP T.J. House (0-0, 4.50) for the Aeros. In the nightcap, RHP James Avery (4-1, 1.72) will go for Erie and RHP Jose De La Torre (1-0, 4.50) will counter for the Aeros. The games can be heard on FOX SportsRadio 1350-AM, or online at sportsradio1350.com, beginning at 4:50pm.

The first-place Aeros will host the Seawolves for three games, concluding with a 10:35 a.m. game on Wednesday morning. Then on Thursday night at 7:05, the Harrisburg Senators will come to town for four games to conclude the homestand.
