Erie got on the board first with an Andre Lipscius homer in the first.
The Fightins tied it up at one apiece in the second. A groundout from Kevin Vicuna sent home Wendell Rijo.
Erie was back again in the bottom half as Andrew Navigato batted home a run.
Reading tied it up once more on Friscia's RBI single to score Muzziotti.
Again, the SeaWolves were there this time with a solo shot off the bat of Dillon Dingler making it 3-2.
Erie put their go-ahead run on with Lipscius sending home Luis Carpio.
The SeaWolves poured it on in the sixth with home runs from Dane Myers and Michael de la Cruz. After a four-spot, they led 8-2.
The R-Phils final run came from Muzziotti's second homer of the series, a deep fly ball to right center. Reading had the bases loaded in the eighth but couldn't put a run across.
Noah Skirrow got the start throwing four and a third innings allowing five hits and four runs, three earned. He struck out seven. Skirrow left with a runner on.
Braden Zarbnisky inherited that runner and walked a batter but got a big double play ball to end the frame. Zarbnisky let up four runs on five hits and a walk in the sixth including two long balls.
Tyler McKay pitched two and two thirds innings. McKay inherited a runner in the sixth but got out of the inning clean. The righty had a baserunner in each of his next two frames but put up zeroes on the scoreboard.
