Ennis activated from DL

OTTAWA - John Ennis has been activated from the Lynx disabled list. He fills the roster spot left open by Matt Childers' trip to the DL with a sore knee yesterday. In other Lynx DL news, Eude Brito, who has been on the Lynx disabled list with a groin injury since April 20th, has been transferred to Single-A Clearwater.

Ennis, 27, was 2-0 with a 0.59 ERA for the Lynx this season head into the DL with a groin injury May 9th. He has allowed only one run in 10 games. He split last season between Double-A Erie and Triple-A Toledo, combining for a 2-4 record with a 2.71 ERA and 13 saves. He made his Major League debut with Atlanta in 2002 and has a 45-52 career Minor League record. This is his 10th professional season.

Brito, 28, appeared in four games out of the Lynx bullpen this season. He has no record and an ERA of 12.00. Brito split last season between Scranton and Philadelphia. He finished 7th in the IL with a 3.17 ERA, he was tied for 2nd in complete games (2) and shutouts (2). He was Scranton's Pitcher of the Year in 2005.
