Iowa Wolves News Release
The Energy keep their streak alive as they took down the Albuquerque Thunderbirds and go 3-0 for the 2008-2009 season, leaving the Energy atop the Central Division standings.
Larry Ayuso of USC lead the Energy with 23 points, hitting three shots from the behind the arc. Five other Energy players also scored in double figures to give the Energy their first victory at home this season.
The Energy will travel to Fort Wayne, Indiana to take on the Mad Ants who are currently 1-2.
Tonight's loss for Albuquerque puts them at 0-3 for the season. Magic Dorsey led the Thunderbirds with 26 points. The Thunderbirds continue their road swing, visiting Tulsa tomorrow.
