The Arsenal expanded their lead to eight through the aerial clinic put on by the offense. The Arsenal ended up scoring 58 points in the paint that included highlight dunks by James White and Noel Felix. The Arsenal came out of the locker rooms at half down by four. The offense immediately responded by shooting 65% from the field while the defense limited Reno to 32% from the field. James White, who led the Arsenal with 29 points and 3 steals, was able to continue to overpower the Bighorn defense throughout the game as he was the top scorer in each quarter.

Arsenal point guard Tierre Brown was named the Adidas Player of the Game after making two crucial plays in the fourth quarter. With eight minutes left in the game, Brown passed to Cedric Bozeman who was able to bring the game back to a two point deficit with a long jumps hot. On the next possession, Brown stole the ball and scored to tie the game at 97. Brown ended the game with 22 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals.

After coming off the bench, Mike Efevberha scored 19 points with 11 coming from the foul line and 17 coming in the pivotal fourth quarter. Cedric Bozeman tallied 15 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals.

Coach Sam Vincent was happy to get the first win on the board. "We have the zero off our record. Sometimes that's the hardest thing to get done."
