Mad Ants Waive Smith and Acquire Kent

Fort Wayne, IN (December 04, 2008)- The NBA D-League's Fort Wayne Mad Ants announced today that forward Eric Smith has been waived. The Mad Ants acquired power forward Anthony Kent.
Kent participated in the Mad Ants training camp and was waived on 11/26. Kent played 17 minutes in the Mad Ants' preseason game against the Erie Bayhawks and scored 4 points and pulled down 3 rebounds.
Kent will join the Ants' roster for this Friday's game, December 5, at 7:30pm at the Memorial Coliseum.
