66ERS ACQUIRE FORWARD RONALD DUPREE
The Tulsa 66ers announced the acquisition of small forward Ronald Dupree. Most recently in the Cleveland Cavaliers training camp, Dupree has played in a total of 154 NBA games since the 2003-04 season. During the 2007-08 season, Dupree played in nine games for the 66ers, averaging 17.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals prior to receiving a Gatorade NBA Call-up on April 3.
TOROS ACQUIRE ANDRE BROWN
The Austin Toros has acquired forward Andre Brown, a 6-9, 245-pound forward who appeared in four games this season for the Charlotte Bobcats. Along with the Bobcats, Brown has also played for the Memphis Grizzlies and Seattle SuperSonics (now Oklahoma City Thunder) and has played in 75 total games in NBA career.
LOS ANGELES REAQUIRES MARCUS WHITE:
The Los Angeles D-Fenders have reacquired forward Marcus White, originally drafted by the D-Fenders in the third round (38th selection) of the 2007 NBA Development League Draft.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Wednesday's game
Blake Ahearn, on assignment from the Spurs, led all scorers with 29 points and Marcus Williams added 25, in Austin's 128-126 win over Dakota. Maurice Baker led the Wizards with 28.
The BayHawks had five players in double-figures, led by Ivan Harris' game high 22 points.
Vipers forward Kendall Dartez tallied his first double-double of the season with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Alton Ford scored 18 and grabbed six rebounds. Smush Parker scored 17 and dished out six assists while Quin Humphrey rounded out the double-digit Viper scorers with 10.
Reno's Damone Brown led the Bighorns with 23 points with Antonio Meeking added 20 points.
Guard Joe Crawford led five D-Fenders in double figures with 25 points as they defeated the Bakersfield Jam 108-105.
Golden State Warrior assignee DeMarcus Nelson notched 23 points and seven rebounds for Bakersfield.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS...a look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games
24 players with D-League experience competed in 10 NBA games last night, three as starters. Here are the highlights:
Rafer Alston finished with 21, eight rebounds and and seven assists in 40 minutes of play for the Houston Rockets.
Anthony Roberson finished with 19 points, fours assists and three steals in the Knicks matchup against the Cavaliers
Matt Barnes recorded 13 points and seven rebounds for the Phoenix Suns.
Miami's Daequan Cook and Morris Almond of the Utah Jazz both contributed 10 points for their respective teams..
