OKC Energy FC News Release

Energy FC (10th, 6-5-8, 26 points) are back at Taft Stadium after a 10-day break, the longest of the season. Their last outing ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw with El Paso Locomotive FC. Rafael Garcia put the Greens ahead from the penalty spot in the 29th minute, but an own goal from Mekeil Williams in the 62nd leveled the score.

OKC will face Reno 1868 FC (3rd, 9-4-5, 32 points), who enter the match having won four of their last five matches. They also have the third most goals in the league (38). This will be the second meeting between the sides after the thrilling 3-3 draw at Greater Nevada Field on March 30. That night, OKC trailed 3-0 before goals from Alexy Bosetti, Christian Eissele and Omar Gordon in the 72nd, 92nd and 94th minute, respectively, salvaged a valuable point on the road. In their six meetings all time, Energy FC have won twice, Reno 1868 FC have won three times, and there has been one draw.
