
Emily West To Sing Opening Night National Anthem At Aces Ballpark

RENO, Nev. - Renowned Capitol Records Nashville recording artist Emily West has been chosen to sing the inaugural National Anthem at Aces Ballpark on Opening Night, April 17, the club announced today.
West is considered one of the premier up-and-coming recording artists in the country, and she is currently recording her debut album. Earlier this month, West released her single "That Kind of Happy."
The April 17 home opener for the Reno Aces will include a number of exciting opening ceremonies, culminating in the traditional signing of "The Star-Spangled Banner," before the Aces take the field for the first time at the club's brand-new $50 million ballpark. First pitch is set for 6:05 p.m., with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for a pre-game festival on the plaza outside Aces Ballpark, beginning at 3 p.m. A live band, beer garden and other special promotions are planned as part of the festival.
Tickets for the April 17 home opener have sold out. Limited quantities remain for the rest of Opening Weekend at Aces Ballpark. The inaugural homestand will include four games against the Salt Lake Bees, Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and four more against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.
