Zephyrs Opening Weekend Begins Friday

Metairie, LA - Opening Weekend comes to Zephyr Field on Friday, when the New Orleans Zephyrs play their 17th home opener in the Crescent City against the Nashville Sounds at 7:00 p.m.
Postgame fireworks will highlight the festivities on Opening Night, and fans will receive mugs courtesy of Budweiser, as well as a magnet schedule. Fans attending Saturday's game will receive a hat, compliments of People's Health.
Dogs are welcome at the ballpark on Sunday for Bark In The Park, when fans can enjoy the game on the Levee with their pet. A playground ball will be given away at the gates, courtesy of Coca-Cola, and as part of the Kids Day activities, a petting zoo will be available. The series concludes with matinee baseball on Monday, an 11:30 a.m. start.
The Zephyrs won three of four games against the Sounds in Nashville to open the season last weekend. The pitching matchups for the upcoming series are expected to be:
Friday vs. Nashville (7:00 PM): RH Dallas Trahern vs. RH Nick Green
Saturday vs. Nashville (6:00 PM): RH Daniel Barone vs. RH Tim Dillard
Sunday vs. Nashville (2:00 PM): RH Ryan Tucker vs. LH Lindsay Gulin
Monday vs. Nashville (11:30 AM): RH Brett Sinkbeil vs. LH Sam Narron
