Elmira Jackals Hosting Food Drive this Weekend

ELMIRA, N.Y. - November 11, 2012 - The Elmira Jackals are asking you join them in an effort to collect food for the Food Bank of the Southern Tier this weekend when they host the Trenton Titans on Friday and Saturday.
"It's important at this time of the year to recognize those in need of assistance and do everything we can to lend a hand. The Jackals have exceptionally dedicated and generous fans who we are counting on to step up and make this food drive a great success," said Jackals general manager Matt Hufnagel.
Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items with them to First Arena. For every three items that a fan donates, the Jackals will give them a complimentary ticket to the home game on November 21, 2012 against the Greenville Road Warriors. There is a limit of four complimentary tickets per fan.
Donations can be dropped off at the Food Bank of the Southern Tier table on the First Arena concourse.
