Rashad Eldridge drove in three runs and three Oklahoma pitchers limited the New Orleans Zephyrs to three runs on Monday night as the RedHawks beat the Zephyrs 4-3 at Zephyr Field.

Oklahoma avoids being swept in the four-game series and comes home 6-6 on the 12-game trip.

The RedHawks scored first on a sacrifice fly by Joaquin Arias in the first inning. Eldridge drove in his first run with a two-out single in the fifth to give Oklahoma a 2-0 lead for starter John Wasdin, who entered with a 19-inning scoreless streak.

Wasdin's streak reached 24 before he allowed three runs (one earned) in the sixth inning as the Zephyrs took a 3-2 lead. Wasdin's season ERA dropped to 2.17 in a no decision.

Dave Berg and Tom Gregorio singled in the seventh off Zephyrs starter Billy Traber (3-3) before Eldridge belted a 1-1 pitch off the right field wall for a double against reliever Jason Bergmann, scoring both runners and giving the RedHawks the lead for good.

Wes Littleton earned the relief win in his first career Triple-A appearance. Bryan Corey pitched two scoreless innings for his third save.

The RedHawks, 21-30, open an eight-game homestand Tuesday at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark at 7:05 p.m. CDT. Robinson Tejeda is due to pitch against Albuquerque right-hander Nic Ungs.
