Salt Lake's Nolan Fontana went 2-for-3 with a grand slam and five RBIs in the Bees' 9-4 win over the El Paso Chihuahuas Monday night. The Bees got to Chihuahuas starter Dinelson Lamet, scoring six runs against him in five innings after Lamet entered the start with only one earned run allowed in 20 innings this season.

Trailing 6-0, the Chihuahuas sent nine batters to the plate in a four-run sixth inning. The rally included RBI singles by Collin Cowgill and Jose Pirela, as well as a two-run home run by Nick Buss. It stayed a two-run game until Salt Lake's Ramon Flores hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth.

Diego Goris and Rafael Ortega had two hits each for the Chihuahuas in the loss. El Paso won three of the five games of the series, giving the Chihuahuas a 20-9 record all-time at Smith's Ballpark.
