Edgefest 15 Coming to Pizza Hut Park

Frisco, Texas (May 11, 2006) - KDGE 102.1 The Edge has been the source for alternative rock music in Dallas/Fort Worth for over a decade. June 18th, 102.1 The Edge, celebrates Edgefest 15! The event will be held Sunday, June 18 at Pizza Hut Park, the new state-of the-art sports and entertainment complex in Frisco, Texas. More than 20 bands will perform on 2 stages including multi-platinum artists Staind and Hoobastank, rising stars Hawthorne Heights, the reunion of local legends the Toadies and several emerging local/regional artists.

"We're excited that the area's hottest music festival, Edgefest, has selected the hottest concert venue, Pizza Hut Park, for this summer's event," said Michael Hitchcock, President and General Manager of Pizza Hut Park and FC Dallas. "Pizza Hut Park is quickly becoming the area's top concert venue and we're happy to add Edgefest to a growing list of major concerts and festivals that will play the Park this summer."

Confirmed Edgefest 15 artists include: Staind, Toadies, Shinedown, Buckcherry, Hoobastank, Hawthorne Heights, Blue October, Seether, Atreyu, Evans Blue, Three Days Grace, 30 Seconds to Mars, Flyleaf, Trapt, Shinedown, Revolution Theory, Drowning Pool and 10 Years with more to be announced.
