
ECHL Announces Fine, Suspension

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Monday announced that Idaho's Jack Nevins has been suspended for five games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #835, Idaho at South Carolina, on March 16.
Nevins was assessed a game misconduct under Rule #70.1 at 20:00 of the third period for leaving the player's bench and becoming involved in an alteration. He is suspended under Rule #70.6.
Nevins will miss Idaho's games vs. Rapid City (March 21, March 23 and March 24) and vs. Utah (March 30 and March 31).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
