Eastdale Mall to be home to Maulers offices and retail shop

The city's newest professional sports team, the Montgomery Maulers indoor football team will soon be "open for business" at Eastdale Mall at 5501 Atlanta Highway. The team's new offices and retail shop are located next to the food court in the former location of Piccadilly Cafeteria.
With 10,000-square feet of space, the Maulers have plenty of room for the team's employees and coaches. The spacious area will also be used for player meetings and dance team and cheerleader practices.
The office includes a storefront with a retail area where fans can purchase Maulers' hats, shirts, sweatshirts and other team merchandise. The retail shop is scheduled open for business in mid-February and will remain open during regular mall hours (Monday through Saturday 10am-9pm and Sunday 1pm-6pm).
"The addition of the Montgomery Maulers' offices and retail shop adds another exciting venue for our guests," said David Schloss, the general manager of Eastdale Mall.
An expansion franchise in the National Indoor Football League (NIFL), the Montgomery Maulers offer seven nights of hard-hitting, high-scoring, "edge of your seat" excitement at historic Garrett Coliseum. The Maulers play their first-ever game on March 19 at Kissimmee, FL. The first home game is Saturday, April 2 against the SW Louisiana Swashbucklers.
